Maggie Lindemann lands role in Machine Gun Kelly musical ‘Downfalls High’

Back in September, Machine Gun Kelly released his fifth studio album Tickets To My Downfall, a departure from hip-hop that saw the Cleveland star delving into pop, punk, and other more alternative genres. The 15-track project proved to be MGK’s most successful to date, landing him at number one on the Billboard 200 with 126,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release — for comparison, the LP’s predecessor, 2019’s Hotel Diablo, peaked at number five on that same chart with 39,000 album equivalent units sold. Tickets To My Downfallalso spawned a few deluxe upgrades, including a Sold Out edition that added on six additional cuts.

This past weekend, Machine Gun Kelly and close collaborator Mod Sun unveil a musical titled Downfalls High, an extension of the aforementioned album that stars internet celebrity Chase “Lil Huddy” Hudson and “Euphoria” actress Sydney Sweeney. The film centers around a high school love story between the two characters that Hudson and Sweeney play, interspersed with MGK’s performance of Tickets To My Downfall cuts alongside Travis Barker, Maggie Lindemann, Siickbrain, Omar Fedi, Trippie Redd, and Iann Dior.
